DonateDonate to Habitat for Humanity for SLO County online or fill out the donation form to send a donation by mail. Recruit a Team BuildA Team Build is usually 10 volunteers coming together to raise $100 each and asking their employer to match funds raised. It can also be an organization donating $1,000 or more and contributing a day of volunteer labor to a Habitat build. This is a wonderful way to build team spirit between co-workers, club members or groups while serving your local community. Contact your place of worship about being an Apostles BuildAn Apostle Build is 12 churches/institutions of faith joining together to fully fund and build ONE house for ONE family. Just as the 12 apostles were charged with spreading the word about Jesus, our 12 apostles are charged with assisting with Habitat's mission to provide decent shelter. How does an Apostles Build Work?

So all that is required from your church is funding and labor. We can help you with ideas for fundraising campaigns and how to get your congregation involved. This is an opportunity for your church to get involved in a multi-generational project. Also, there may be people in your congregation with special skills and specific resources who want to be more involved. This is an extra blessing!
